Phim bao gồm các tài liệu đương đại được biết đến hoặc chưa được công bố và ghi chép lại những sự kiện chính dẫn đến các quyết định chính trị. Hình ảnh tư liệu màu rõ đã được khôi phục nâng cấp bằng kỹ thuật đồ họa. Bộ phim được sản xuất bởi Isabelle Clarke và Daniel Costelle , cũng là người sản xuất phim 3 tập “Những hình ảnh chưa được biết đến của chiến tranh VN”.
